Hosts & history
The senior hosts Markus and Lisi started with a little milk bar in 1957. Until 1980 the hotel underwent several modifications and renovations and became a 4-star-hotel. In 2001 Jakob and Andrea Schermer took over the hotel, which was expanded to 150 beds and equipped with a generous wellness area. In 2008 the hotel received the 4-Star Superior classification.
Tirolean hospitality
Enjoy genuine Tirolean hospitality – at the bar, in the wine cellar or at the regular’s table. Many long-time employees and regular guests, local guests and of course three generations of the family Schermer create a cordial atmosphere throughout the hotel.
Culinary delights
Delight in the freshest seasonal produce from the hotels’ own farm “Jagabauer” which has been family owned for more than 400 years. In addition, we buy locally-sourced products wherever possible and have been certified with the Austrian “AMA seal” which ensures that products can be traced to their origin. We also carry the quality seal “Bewusst Tirol” which increases the value chain within Tirol.
Our wine cellar
Our wine cellar is well-stocked with Austrian and international wines. Guests should not miss our Sauvignon Blanc from our own vineyard in Tramin in South Tirol.
Spa & Wellness
Relax in our “Vitalwelt” wellness area with various saunas, indoor swimming pool, outdoor pool and relaxation rooms or our beautifully designed garden. In addition, we pamper our guests with various massages and beauty treatments.
Westendorf & Kitzbuehel Alps in Tirol
In summer, the region boasts 200 km of hiking trails, 800 km of bike routes, a 18-hole golf course, and many excursionss. The perfect destination for families to enjoy relaxing and active holidays. In winter, one of Austria’s largest skiing areas offers snow-sure winter and skiing fun.

Seminars in Westendorf
Our conference room is suitable for up to 30 people (ca. 40m²). In summer, we also offer our secluded mountain hut for incentives. We will be happy to send you an individual offer.
