Excursions

Kitzbuehel Alps

There’s a lot to see in the Kitzbuehel Alps and the neighbouring regions. In the Kitzbuehel grass mountains there’s numerous summits up to an altidude of 2,500m. Worth visiting are the natural gorges Grießenbachklamm, Tiefenbachlamm, Wolfsklamm and Kundl.

You can take a look into ancient times in the old towns Kitzbuehel, Rattenberg or Kufstein, in the silver mines Schwaz and Jochberg or Farms Museum Kramsach.

Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Schwaz are an irresistible attraction as well as the Adventure Water Worlds in Woergl, Kitzbuehel and Ellmau.r.

Brixental valley

At one end of the shopping city Woergl, on the other the traditional city of Kitzbuehel – and between the two cities the Brixental valley stretches at a length of about 30 kilometres with its villages Westendorf, Hopfgarten, Brixen and Kirchberg. The romantic side valleys are very scenic for hiking. The mountain “Hohe Salve” is one of the most impressive panorama mountains of the Eastern Alps.

In and around the Brixental valley family adventure worlds as Elmis Wizarding World, Hexenwasser, Alpinolino, Filzalmsee, Piller Eland, Tirassic Park invite to a lot of fun.
