From Wörgl to Hochfilzen by train

Explore the Kitzbühel Alps by train – fast, comfortable and environmentally friendly. This is available to all our guests with a valid guest card – at no extra cost. You will receive your guest card from your accommodation provider when you check in.

Take advantage of your guest card and travel for free between the villages with a train station. This service includes all commuter trains (no IC, EC and RailJet trains!) on the route Kirchbichl – Wörgl – Bruckhäusl – Hopfgarten – Kirchberg – Kitzbühel – St. Johann- Fieberbrunn – Hochfilzen.

Excursions in Tirol

At one end of the shopping city of Woergl, on the other the traditional city of Kitzbuehel – and between the two cities the Brixental valley stretches at a length of about 30 kilometres with its villages Westendorf, Hopfgarten, Brixen and Kirchberg. The romantic side valleys are very scenic for hiking. The mountain “Hohe Salve” is one of the most impressive panorama mountains of the Eastern Alps.

Excursion tips

There’s plenty to discover in the Kitzbuehel Alps and the neighbouring regions. The Kitzbuehel grass mountains are home to numerous peaks up to 2,500 metres high. The natural gorges of Grießenbachklamm, Tiefenbachklamm, Wolfsklamm and Kundl are well worth a visit.

In and around the Brixental there are many family-friendly excursions, such as Ellmi’s magic world, Hexenwasser theme parks Söll, Alpinolino, Filzalmsee, Pillerseeland, and Tirassic Park.

The beautiful old towns of Kitzbuehel, Rattenberg and Kufstein are well worth a visit. And if you want to see how our ancestors would have lived and worked in times gone by, explore the silver mine in Schwaz or the farm museum Kramsach.

Guided Bike Tours

Join a variety of guided tours on our city, mountain or e-bikes. Leisurely tours lead to our family-owned farm or to Kitzbuehel. The tour into the romantic Windautal valley to the “cheese” hut “Straubing” is a bit more demanding.

Guided Hiking Tours

Easy and family-friendly, or a little more challenging: The hotel owner Jakob and our guide accompany you on various scenic hiking tours where fun and conviviality always come first – espacially on our mountain hut “Scheibenschlag”.
